Is the felt self-adhesive?
No. This felt is supplied without an adhesive backing. It is attached using a suitable adhesive.
Which spray adhesive is suitable?

High initial tack and suitability for textiles and vehicle interiors are important.
Is felt suitable for the interior of a camper van?
Yes. Polypropylene needle felt is robust, dimensionally stable, and frequently used in vehicle and interior design. It provides a comfortable surface and reduces noise.
Does the felt insulate against cold and noise?
The felt lookssound-reducing and slightly heat-insulating.
However, it does not replace full-fledged insulation (e.g. Armaflex or similar materials), but complements it usefully as a surface material.
Is the felt waterproof?
Polypropylene is insensitive to moisture.
However, the felt is not designed as a permanent outdoor solution or for heavily wet areas.
How heat-resistant is the material?
Temperature resistant up to approx.+80 °C.
It is not suitable for direct heat sources or engine areas.
Are the cut edges fraying?
No. Needle felt generally does not fray and can be cut cleanly.
Can I wrap the felt around curves?
Yes. Due to its flexibility, felt is well suited for curves, wheel arches and angled surfaces.
Is the felt flame-resistant?
It is polypropylene needle felt.
A specific fire protection certification is not included. For applications with increased fire protection requirements, appropriate materials should be selected.
