For which applications is the 2 mm thickness suitable?
The 2 mm version is suitable for medium-sized stops, offering better sealing and noticeably stronger damping than the 1.5 mm version. Ideal for doors, windows, drawers, and furniture stops with slightly higher load requirements.

What is the advantage of 2 mm compared to 1.5 mm?
A 2 mm thickness offers greater material strength, higher shock absorption, and better draft reduction. It is also more resistant under moderate stress.

Is 2 mm suitable as a furniture glide?
A 2 mm strip can be used as a protective strip under moderate and widespread loads.
For furniture subject to point loads, such as chair or table legs, we recommend special felt glides or thicker versions, as these are designed for continuous loads.

How well does the 2 mm felt tape seal?
It is suitable for reducing small to medium gaps. For larger gaps or higher damping requirements, 3 mm or 4 mm are more suitable.

On which surfaces does the tape adhere reliably?
The felt tape adheres to clean, dry, and smooth surfaces such as wood, plastic, metal, or painted surfaces. Thorough cleaning before installation significantly improves adhesion.

Is the felt tape suitable for outdoor use?
No. This product is intended for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to moisture or weather can impair its adhesive strength.

How do I attach the felt tape correctly?
Clean and dry the surface → cut to the desired length → peel off the protective film → stick it on and press firmly.
Ideally, the processing should take place at room temperature.

How long does the 2 mm felt tape last?
With normal indoor use, a lifespan of several years is possible. The service life depends on pressure, friction, and the surface.

Is the 2 mm felt tape reusable?
No. The dispersion acrylate adhesive is designed for a permanent bond. After removal, the tape typically loses a large portion of its adhesive strength.

When should I choose 3 mm or 4 mm?
3 mm or 4 mm are useful in cases of higher load, larger gap dimensions or greater damping requirements.
2 mm is the balanced middle ground between the discreet 1.5 mm version and the more durable 3–4 mm versions.
