The Felt Store Europe is Germany's central point of contact for felt materials and products on the Internet. With more than 150 years of experience in felt making, we serve a growing online community of crafters, designers and industrial markets.

This is a rare opportunity to participate in a small (but growing) eCommerce team within a larger group of family-owned manufacturing companies. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic (*) student (*) as a part-time designer (*) who will support us in the creation of online marketing materials. The/(*) ideal candidate/(*) has a desire to develop his/her/(*) skills in the areas of photography, video and online marketing. It is important that this person has excellent oral and written communication skills. The applicant/(*) is expected to interact in a small team and work independently on the tasks set. 

Activities detailed

  • Collaborate with our e-commerce manager to develop and implement digital marketing content for all of our sales platforms. 
  • Creation of product photos, short videos and marketing ads on Amazon. 
  • Creating digital content for our website, blog, email marketing, social media and marketing platforms. 
  • Creation of image guidelines and storyboards that are translated into digital content 
  • Copywriting is a plus 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Digital portfolio 
  • School leaving certificate or equivalent qualification. (School leaving certificate: intermediate school leaving certificate / general university entrance qualification) 
  • You must be at least 18 years old 
  • Technically proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite: particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Premiere and After Effects are a plus). 
  • Photography: digital photography with knowledge of lighting, image editing and color correction 
  • Optional: Video: Experience with storyboarding, filming and post-production 
  • Proficiency in English or a language other than German.
